Muriel Martin Fundraising Society (MMFS)
Muriel Martin Fundraising Society (MMFS) raises money for projects in and around the school with the goal of enhancing learning opportunities for students. Many of these projects result in purchases that remain at the school, including:
- climbing wall in the gym
- band equipment
All parents or guardians of students attending Muriel Martin are members of the MMFS and are invited to participate in the Muriel Martin Fundraising Society. Meetings are held according to the schedule below and are now held via Google Meet or in person. School Council Meeting time is 7:00 p.m. and Fundraising Society Meeting follows at approximately 8:00 p.m.
For more information, or to be added to our distribution list, please send a message to firstname.lastname@example.org.
To stay informed throughout the school year, watch for notices in the school's Weekly Parent Planner. It is sent via email every Friday.

Bottle Drives/Skip The Depot
We hold bottle drives periodically during the year. You can also book a Skip The Depot pick up all-year-round using this link https://app.skipthedepot.com/murielmartin and the promo code RECYCLEEASY and your donation will be credited to the Fundraising Society.
Kindergarten students are quizzed on their knowledge of the alphabet, while students in Grades 1-6 complete spelling tests. Students collect pledges, with all funds being donated to one of three areas: physical education, music or technology.
Every year, the MMFS discusses and selects projects to fund. In recent years, we have purchased chrome carts, band equipment, a screen and AV system for the gym and the character ed t-shirts that students win for receiving Dino Draws.
What do you think we should fund? Send your ideas to email@example.com.
